There are three types of vitamin K: K1 is obtained from food, K2 is produced by intestinal bacteria and K3 is a synthetic form. Vitamin K2 (menaquinone) is a fat-soluble vitamin primarily found in dairy products and fermented foods such as fermented cheese, yoghurt, natto and sauerkraut.
Vitamin K2 contributes to the maintenance of normal bones as it is important for helping to transport calcium away from being deposited into soft tissues and instead into supporting bone health.
Viridian Nutrition’s Vitamin K2 is extracted in Italy from fermented Bacillus subtilis natto cultures in a unique process and guaranteed non-animal tested. This vegan capsule from Viridian Nutrition is an easy way to help support your daily intake.
Contains 100% active ingredients formulated by expert nutritionists with no artificial fillers and no nasties. Sourced according to Viridian’s strict ethical criteria including no animal testing, GMO or palm oil.
